When we opened our cozy local coffee shop (Park Avenue Coffee in the heart of Lafayette Square, St. Louis) we started with two simple principals – good people serving good coffee. We quickly realized that a family favorite – our mother’s traditional gooey butter cake – would be a good addition to that mix. We just didn’t know how good! “Mom’s traditional” quickly became over 70 flavors of gooey butter cake (and counting), acquiring numerous local “Best of” accolades. We started baking banana and zucchini breads, brownies, muffins and scones. We have shipped our baked goods to all 50 states and around the world. Our little coffee shop has grown into a bigger baking company. We hope you enjoy every bite of every slice.
